Writing
From authoring books to writing major competitive grant applications, Louise Williams is a keen wordsmith. She has won a Walkley Award for Excellence in Journalism, the Citibank Pan Asia Journalism Award and an Australia Council fellowship for her work. Her passion is translating complex concepts into concise, compelling and succinct narratives. She has contributed to over $100 million of successful grant applications. She also writes speeches, media articles and opinion pieces, web copy, academic publications, strategic and policy documents.




Editing
From copy editing to the strategic restructuring and rewriting of documents, good editing makes all the difference. Louise Williams can run a fine-toothed comb through your words to pick up typos, grammatical and spelling errors, restructure sentences for clarity, or look at your document strategically, to restructure and rewrite where necessary. She is an experienced editor of feature articles, opinion pieces, policy documents, strategic papers, academic papers and competitive grant applications.




Training
With over 15 years-experience, teaching writing and media subjects at the University of Technology, Sydney, Louise Williams can build engaging writing and communications courses to suit your needs. She has, for example, developed and run customised course in opinion writing, academic writing and ‘translating complex concepts’ for several major Australian universities. She has also developed and presented courses for Chinese media editors, the Indonesian Press Council and for Australian and international students studying in Indonesia.
